News - A great end to the season for Camille Rast



Since the beginning of the year, the hugely talented skier Camille Rast has been accompanied on her way to the top of her discipline by PREMA Cash Handling Systems. The 19-year-old from the Valais region of Switzerland caused a sensation two years ago when she won the slalom gold medal at the Junior World Championships in Are, Sweden, and took an outstanding 9th place in the giant slalom World Cup race in Kronplatz, Italy. Unfortunately, Camille Rast subsequently fell ill with glandular fever and was forced to take a longer break from training for health reasons.


Over the past few weeks, however, Camille Rast has regained her previous form and put in some brilliant performances. Her absolute highlight was certainly winning the silver medal in the giant slalom at the Junior World Championships in Val di Fassa, Italy. With an excellent 23rd place in the giant slalom World Cup race in Spindleruv Mlyn, in the Czech Republic, the great up-and-coming talented skier moreover showed that she can also perform at the highest level.
